I am completely new to the world of CCTV surveillance and would like some help. I want to set up a baby monitor system that is expandable and can be repurposed to a surveillance system later. I want multi cam support, night vision (whatever the most recommended format is), audio, and the ability to monitor via iPhone/internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I spent an hour or so looking over the forums but couldn't find any outright recommendations that I was sure would meet all my requirements. I obviously would like to keep the cost down but also consider it a bit of an investment. In other words, bang for buck means the most to me. I don't mind to pay a little more if I am getting significantly better equipment. I almost bought a couple of wifi cams (Y-Cam Knight S and Panasonic C131) before I found an article stating that I would get better results with an analog CCTV setup. Thanks in advance for any help.
