HI Everybody, I am new here and this is my first post. I am looking for CCTV camera system for my warehouse and office area. Its 100 X 40 Feet. Please see the attached design. warehouse camera must cover the all floor space and keeping close eye on material sorting table is very important. The ceiling height of warehouse is 22 feet. The warehouse cameras are to keep an eye on employees that nobody is stealing the products from warehouse. Please suggest what kind of cameras are recommended. My budget for Camera DVR and other accessories, cables is $2000 Max. I will need 10 to 14 days of recording space. External Camera will be working in Michigan Detroit area. They must be able to survive cold weather and snow. Thanks Guys,

I found that QCN7001B from Costco http://www.costco.com/Q-See-High-Definition-720p-2-Pack-IP-Cameras.product.100003461.html. It is costing $150 a camera. I need suggestions on NVR for these cameras. I understand they are POE. If the NVR does not have POE I will need to buy an POE switch to power the cameras. I will need between 4 to 6 cameras. Costco have a deal on these cameras. This deal have 4 of these cameras with NVR. http://www.costco.com/Q-See-4-Channel-HD-Digital-NVR-with-1TB-Hard-Drive-and-4-HD-720p-IP-Cameras.product.100003211.html This NVR limits my option to add more camera in future. For now 4 cameras will do the job but I would like to have option to add more cameras later. Please suggest NVR for more than 4 cameras and POE solution. Thanks.

thanks buellwinkle, The reason I want to avoid buying NVR from a Chinese reseller is because no support or firmware updates. That's why I was thinking going PC. Is there any US seller for Dahua made NVR? They NVR Costco sells with the above cameras is 4 channels and specification says it can record all 4 cameras at 30 fps at 720p. Is it true? I want to buy cameras from Costco. They cost little more than Chinese resellers but I get better support and firmware updates from Qsee. -

Can you suggest/recommend a Dahua NVR? If I want a dedicated PC acting as NVR what kind of Hardware/software cost we are talking? I will record 6 Cameras at 10-15 FPS 720P with Motion Set at night time. I believe 4 Indoor Cameras wont be triigering motions and 2 Outdoor may trigger some motion. -

Hi, I am in the process of setting up the security camera system at my business. I am researching and learning. I have learned that Network camera can offer better quality over Analog CCTV cameras. Originally I was going to go with Samsung SCV 2080R Dome cameras but now after research I have chnaged my mind to go with Network cameras. I will need recording. I need 6 Cameras total. 4 Indoor and 2 Outdoor. What frame rate I will be able to record at 720P? If I am recording 6 Cameras at 720P with 1 TB Hard Disk Drive, Can I get recording of Minimum 15 Days? Also suggest some Q see Outdoor cameras. -
