    Kind of out of my element here, so thanks for any help. Looking to do a 24 camera system, all IP based , the longest run being close to 250 feet. Do most NVR's have POE to power the cameras or should I be powering them another way? Also I have seen on this forum something about licenses for IP cameras, is this based on the camera or the NVR?
