Hi folks. I have a question. I have the Q-see system from costco and also an axis q6035. I would like to know the best way to use the axis ptz with q-see system. I have tried using the q-6035 with my PC but my PC is about 4 years old and is a turd, graphics were not to great. In the process of an upgrade on the PC but would really like to have cameras on the q-see nvr. I believe the q-see has RS485 ptz but I dont think the q6035 does. Thanks for any help or advice. 49 views and no answer, I had a feeling this may not be possible. I spoke to q-see support, they only know RS485 control and the axis q6035 is not RS485. The engineer at axis seems to think it should work but I have had no luck. Right now I have the axis plugged into a router and am viewing it over a PC, what is the best way to record with this setup? Thanks in advance.
