  1. So i just installed a QC-804 DVR in my house because someone has been coming in and sometimes taking stuff, But now that i have it all running (recording 24/7) What is the easiest way to review the footage? I am not really sure when they are coming in so i am have to review every bit of footage of when i am not home. But the only good way to do this i found is directly on the NVR and still its not that great plus for me thats hard because its hidden in a crawl space in the basement. So i need a way of reviewing from my computer or something. The PSS software doesnt work for this either. Now i can download the footage into a AVI via the web interface, but that doesnt do me much good unless i have some sort of program to go through the footage and tell me when it sees motion. I havnt been able to figure out how to setup the motion detection alarms so that i can just go back and look when the alarm was triggered but reality i dont want to relay on the motion detection. So if anyone has any ideas or suggestions i am more than happy to try them!
  2. I have been having some trouble with things disappearing out of my house...I dont really want to go into details but basically i need to get a security system I would like to be able to hide the cameras and i would only need 4 max. I would like them to be decently high resolution. I also need to be able to immediately backup all the footage to another computer in the house encase the person sees one of the cameras and tries to destroy the footage. I have been looking the q-see 689086 at costco http://www.costco.com/Q-See-4-Channel-HD-Digital-NVR-with-1TB-Hard-Drive-and-4-HD-720p-IP-Cameras.product.100003211.html Does anyone know if this thing is any good? I am open to suggestions. Thank you
