Hi. I'm a newbie from Birmingham UK looking for some help on how to resolve two faults with my DS2 (M2IP) dvr. The first issue I have is that ftp archiving suddenly stopped working. The unit used to archive PAR files ok to my PC (I have two FTP servers at different locations which both exhibit the same problem when I switch the DS2 FTP server settings between them, so I know it's the DS2 not the server). The DS2 logs on, create a directory with the right date and then copy a txt file ok, but it never starts to upload a PAR file. Instead the connection just times out. I've tried reformatting the disks and also reloading the firmware but neither solves the problem. Has anyone come across this issue before? What can I do to resolve this problem?
