  1. I want to get replacement lenses for our Q-See QCN7001 bullet cameras for better viewing angle. Not happy with the standard lens viewing angle especially for our driveway & front door. Here are some examples I narrowed down to: http://dx.com/p/2-1mm-160-degree-wide-angle-lens-for-security-cameras-and-webcams-15237 http://dx.com/p/replacement-fixed-iris-lens-for-cctv-camera-1-8mm-47018 http://dx.com/p/replacement-fixed-iris-wide-angle-lens-for-cctv-camera-2-5mm-51865 http://dx.com/p/3-6mm-fixed-iris-lens-for-webcams-and-security-cctv-cameras-44101 http://dx.com/p/replacement-fixed-iris-lens-for-cctv-camera-3-6mm-45189 I did read about M12 lenses being a bit better in quality than DX but their shipping cost to Canada is very high Any advice will be appreciated!!! Thank you
  2. Just an update, received my lenses from DX.com & the 2.1 & 2.5 mm DOES NOT fit in the housing cavity (thread is fine) !!! http://dx.com/p/replacement-fixed-iris-wide-angle-lens-for-cctv-camera-2-5mm-51865 http://dx.com/p/2-1mm-160-degree-wide-angle-lens-for-security-cameras-and-webcams-15237 I am so disappointed, I wish someone would have warned me they would not fit
  3. Has anyone had success with DX.com 2.1 or 2.5 mm lens on the Costco Q-See 720?? http://dx.com/p/replacement-fixed-iris-wide-angle-lens-for-cctv-camera-2-5mm-51865 http://dx.com/p/2-1mm-160-degree-wide-angle-lens-for-security-cameras-and-webcams-15237 I ordered one of each & just now tried to change it & does not fit
  4. I would order from them except they are charging over $20 just for shipping! I will be ordering 2.1 mm & 2.5 mm & few 3.6 mm. I have 6 bullets in total (2 dome). I want to use the 2.1 mm for my front entrance & 2.5 mm for the driveway. Or is 3.6 mm more than enough?
  5. Thanks for the links! I did call them but their prices were pretty high so will try ordering the DX lenses for now & see how it goes.
  6. ^ Thanks for taking the time to reply! OK, will confirm that it will fit 1/3". I think I will stick to larger size like 2.1mm or higher which will still be good. I don't mind paying few $ more, just hoping the quality will be good. I could easily buy the more expensive $14 lenses if only they had free shipping to Canada like DX. We always get screwed with shipping charges here in Canada
  7. Search google for PSS DPI fix PSS is 4.06 Please point me in the right direction or if you have exact link that would be great! Thanks so much again
  8. Wanted to ask for some help if possible - thank you in advance! http://www.costco.ca/Q-See%c2%ae-4-channel-High-Definition-Digital-NVR-with-2-TB-HDD-%2526-4-HD-720p-IP-Cameras.product.100027567.html Can't see any camera images on PSS. This is what I am getting on the menu (image attached) which is not even fully visible. http://imageshack.us/f/23/psssoftware.jpg Running Windows 7. Were told by Q-See tech that my upload speed is too low. Not able to log in to remote viewing from outside. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  9. Thanks again. Guess back to calling q-see tomorrow. When going through Explorer the viewing windows blink with an image and quickly disappear (stays white with brief message unstable network) Also when viewing through Mozilla or Chrome, does not give you the full config. menu and only can see one camera at a time unlike on IE
  10. Thanks! The NVR is working at home on a monitor but when going through network I am not able to see anything through PSS or InternetExplorer. On IE I get the home screen with 4 empty windows, KBPS running and brief message "unstable network". Would internet upload speed have anything to do with it? Really mad that there is no support for Blackberry 07 Did you look at the pic I attached, the device manager screen is not even full It's been very frustrating for the past couple of days.
