Hi, I would gladly take some advice what to do with my camera (Dahua - 3300C). At the default setting the image is like the one I attached below, it is showing the backside of my house, lawn and a concrete walkway, (the house is white). There is no backlight and completely dark in this area. Is there anyway to improve it, I have played around with the settings in the webpage but still the default settings is actually the best I could have in my opinion. But still I thought it was supposed to be better. Any suggestions what I could try to do?

Latest email from my vendor regarding the problem with motion detection and the HDB3200c. Dahua said the products has the problem all the time, so they are thinking how to solve the problem. Hope for your understanding.

Tried that but no luck unfortunatly... Dahua technician has been looged on remotly to the nvr an camera but they havnt got back to me yet what they think is wrong.

I´m not really sure what lens, I havn´t changed it so I think it is the 3.6mm? Yes, the Channel i scheduled for MD. The camera is recording some small clips randomly and is triggered of something. But I can go out and I shows up in the "ipadapp" (of the camera), start waving and doing alot of funny moves but it still doesnt record me.

Updated the camerasoftware to the latest one but that didnt help either, it simply just doesnt work to trigger the motion detection when I am in the picture.

Thank you for the tip, I tried it but it was not that problem. Do anyone else have a HDB3200c that works with MD and what is the sensitivity/threshold settings on your camera?

Hi, I have a huge problem with motion detection on my HDB3200c and NVR3216. It seams that I can not get it to record when there is people in the "picture", there is a choice in the NVR (se picture 1) that I can set sensitivity to 1-6. If I set it to 4 it doesn´t record very much, just a few small clips and it seams that I can not trigger motion detection even if I show my self to camera and start waving to it. If I set it to 5 it starts to record instantly and almost every single second 24/7. I noticed that there is 2 values inside the webgui of the HDB3200c (see picture 2), I have changed that settings alot to see if those 2 choices could get the motion detection to trigger recording. But it seams that I even there get lost, anyone have any suggestion how to get the motion detection to trigger on people? (I also have a HFW3300C bullet cam and that works with motion detection with the NVR.)

Yes, there is shadows from tree that moves in the wind... Unfortinatly there is no way to mask away more of the picture. But most of the videoclips are during night.

I have an issue with motion detection, I get very many small recordings every day. My hardware is a NVR3216 and HFW3300C, in the NVR software I have the lowest sensitivity (1) and anti-dither set to 8 (what I think is 8 seconds motion detection before recording?). The region I have selected is only lawn at my backyard but still there is sometimes 30-40 videoclips. Do anyone have any suggestion how I can get this to work for real and only show anmials/people moving?

Why you need autofocus? Fixed camera lens infinity focus is enaugh at most situations. Ok, does it not focus on diffrent things in the covered area such as moving objects/people?

Hi, I´m still pretty new to this ipcamera world. I have an NVR3216 and one HFW3300C and is pretty happy with that one. Now I would like to have some more cameras and I wounder if anyone out there would like to help me with some suggestions with other cameras. I would like to have a camera with: autofocus IR around 20-30 meters (it needs to work in dark area without any backlight) at least 720p solution compability to my NVR3216 PoE support Do anyone like to help me with a suggestions what camera I should look at/buy.

Pretty embarrassing, if I use another TV it works just great with the NVR.

If I set the camera to only use black and white the picture in the NVR get good image an black and white. It seams that the NVR cnt handle th color mode, do anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, I just got my NVR3216 (dahua) and my HFW3300C, and get some strange colors in my NVR (se picture below). The camera looks alright in Internet Explorer in a computer. (I have not yet add a harddrive to the NVR). Do anyone have any suggestions why this is?
