  1. I've been doing a bunch of searching and haven't been able to find the solution that I'm looking for. Let me give you some background. We have a number of the Harbortronics DSLR timelapse cameras which are essentially a weather-proof box with a solar panel on top. We are using them to shoot a construction site and have a couple of locations on the edges of the site where we have to mount them on top of a 30-40' pole. Last year we had issues with the cameras and being able to access them directly was critical to keeping them running. Unfortunately the pole locations for this site don't facilitate having a scissor lift or any other lift close to the poles. What I'd really like to do is mount some sort of "track" system on the side of the pole and be able to lower the entire box down to ground level , do what needs done then raise it back up to position. Being a tinkerer I'm sure I could fabricate something out of unistrut (adult erector set toys!), but i've been asked to see if there's something commercially available that wold do the same thing as it would make it easier for the contractors to install. I've looked and looked but probably don't know what something like this is officially called so i'm not finding much. TL;DR - need a commercial rail/guide system for the side of a 30-40' pole that a camera box can be mounted to then raised and lowered. Thank you all in advance.
