  1. Thank you for your reply I contacted tech support and they suggested that I activate DMZ on the router for the DVR ip ,success so far , I will wait and see if it holds up more than a few days Is there any way to view this on a Mac?
  2. g I am trying to port forward Samsung SDE 3003N on a Actiontec GT704WGB Verizon On dvr I set port 88 for web viewing and port tcp 554 to 558 as was suggested in manual I let the router set the ip address and then set it to static this all works on local network and can be viewed on ie the problem is with remote viewing I think I am not setting something up right in the modem/router you have to set up a new rule and this is where I am having the problem. I type in the external ip with port:88 I get to the login page, login ,all I get is black screen where the cam feeds are. Any help would be greatly appreciated. PS I originally used the Samsung quick connect and it worked for about 3 days and stopped
