Most of all the newer QT models are support P2P (Scan N View) now. If you know your QT model number, then just go to Q-See.com and find this model number in the support page and see if it has the firmware update to support P2P.

HI there, Q-See has the HD Analog system with 720P at costco.com sells for 499. this comes with 8 cameras. Item 865574. This system seem to be pretty good. -
Q-See actually has HDCVI system and it is sold at costco.com and they called it HD Analog system. The 8 cameras system 720P sold for 499.00 (Item #865574). The quality is pretty good and they have a video sample at costco.com too. Here is the video sample link of the Q-See HD analog system http://media.webcollage.net/rwvfp/wc/cp/13922106/module/qsee/_cp/products/1392769713165/tab-d37a5d32-c8d7-4038-bcc9-d5344f1f1680/edbea8aa-a89b-4c2b-90f7-c25f8e3225fd.mp4.flash.flv

Analog camera to IP NVR
id123456 replied to zikronix's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
we have Q-See NVR model QC828 and Q-see DVR model QC448. So they are came from same series which is QC series. SO i guess they came from same Chinese manufacturer. I have both system on same LAN. In NVR when i do Remote device and do auto search, it detected the IP of the DVR, then I can add this DVR to the NVR and show the analog camera in the NVR. So the answer is YES, you can add video from DVR to the NVR as long as they are from same manufacturer. -
check the ID address of each camera. they have to have different ID address. your existing 5 cameras might have ID1 through 5, then the 2 new camera must have ID6 and ID7.

Q-see nvr is made by Dahua, so if you attached non q-see or non dahua ip camera (third party camera), some features will not work, example motion recording will not work -

hello, the ip camera has its own setting for motion detection. you will need to connect the camera to a router directly (you may need the POE adapter), then access the camera from IE browser, then adjust the motion detection here.
