  1. , thanks for pointing that out. I didn't realize that an analog camera could be specified at 1080p. Thought that as an IP-type specification. I see that it's 1000TV lines.
  2. I noticed that COSTCO now has another Q-see dome 1080p camera. This one has the LEDs, but is $50 more expensive. Thoughts? Q-see Dome 1080p with LED http://www.costco.com/.product.761386.html Q-see Mini-dome 1080p, no LED http://www.costco.com/Q-See-Platinum-HD-1080p-IP-Dome-Camera.product.100033842.html
  3. Yes it's compatible, but you may have to limit frame rate because that NVR has limits on how many 1080P cameras you can have at full frame rate. These are what most people call the Dahua ipc-hdb3200c that I reviewed about 6 months ago. It's a day only camera so unless you have a very well lit area, it may not do what you need. Thanks, I'll do some more research. This would be an indoor camera only. A "nanny" cam. I would expect that I will disable the camera during the evening when I'm at home, but leave on during the day while at work. Tho, I guess it would be active all day/night when I leave town.
  4. Just curious if anyone has any experience or opinions with Q-see's 1080p dome camera. I was thinking about getting the Q-See 8 Channel system from Sam's Club plus the dome camera from Costco. Is this compatible with the Q-see 8 channels along with the 720p cameras? Quality concerns, not sure if this is an Dahua camera? Night-time performance given that it doesn't have LEDs? http://www.costco.com/Q-See-Platinum-HD-1080p-IP-Dome-Camera.product.100033842.html
  5. Thanks for the heads up on the Sam's Club sale. I think they didn't even have the 8 channel available before, it was the 4 channel system. At $799, this seems like a good deal, but I'd love to hear what people think about the Swann vs. Q-see 8 channel IP systems. One question I have is about the cameras. The Swann system comes with 1080p vs. Q-see's 720p cameras. Do people think that the Swann camera's are better?
  6. I'm curious about this system as well. One thing with the Costco deal is that you get an automatic 3 year extended warranty on top of the 1 year Swann warranty.
