    Advice for DVR

    cant cms do the same?
  3. Hello all!...I saw Hikvision's DVRs that support iVMS 4.200 client. In ivms you have an interface with blank video cells. In each cell you can open and view a cameras from multiple locations. For example in CH1 you can open a camera from your home's DVR, in CH2 a camera from your store's DVR etc. You can view multiple DVRs from the same interface and record all of them in your PC through the internet. Im looking for a DVR with software that can do the same thing. Any suggestions?
  4. Hello all...today i went to a client of mine who had a DVR already installed by someone else. My client wanted me to setup the internet connection so he could be able to view his DVR via phone/pc. I set the DDNS/ports correctly and all...and i was able to make it work in his mobile phone via VMeye. His DVR must be "Dahua" if i recall correct... The problem is that when i try to log in via internet explorer...i can't find the password... Even though the password is 888888 when i type it to IE i get "login error"... I've also tried 666666, 000000 but nothing works! (password must be up to 6 digits, won't let me type more) Any ideas? I've uploaded a printscreen of the login interface so you may recongnize it...

  7. Hello all i really need your help on this one, because if everything is ok i'm about to make a good deal for my job. There is a company that claims to offer me DVRs in a really low price to use for my clients...they claim that their DVRs have D1 resolution in all of their channels. Is there a big difference between CIF and D1? Are my clients going to see a big difference? More accurate...the exact specs are these (in PAL for Europe) : *Recording Frame Rate (IPS) & Resolution: PAL: 100/704x576; 100/704x288; 100/352x288 Does it worth my time and money? And what about frame rate? the more the best or not? how exactly does this work? Thanks in Advance
