  1. Hi. I have bought a "Network Cam" (AVN211ZV /F46-S). It is N211 for short. Here is a link to the PDF: http://www.surveillance-download.com/user/n211_quick.pdf It does not mention how to get FTP working.. Here is a description of the product: So now I know the software and I have also logged in to the cameras website-system. The problem is that I cant get the camera to send any video files to my FTP-Server. I have everything correct and my FTP-Server does not notice any connection. I have the router: Asus RT-N66U. What could be the problem when both the camera and server are on LAN? The other problem is that on my computer (where the software is installed) it seems to correctly save video clips every time its triggered by movement. So I have them on my HDD but the problem is they are useless to me if I cant watch them. They have the file ending of: .AVC (then there is an .idx file for each .AVC file). I have set in the software (website-system shows AVI too) that I want AVI files instead of AVC. Because there is an option. However even after reboot of the ip-camera it still records AVC files. VideoLan cant play the .AVC file (nor idx) and when I try with "VideoPlayer.exe" then it shows a System Error: The program can't start because avcodec-52.84.0.dll is missing from your ccomputer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. This .dll file I cant find anywhere on the web but if I get one then it may be the solution to one of the problems. I want help from you people here in this surveillance forum.
