Also the cameras are standard 420tvl Sony and i have two cameras connected with baluns and one with a standard cable, the first two are through a RJ45

The cameras and DVR have separate power source, I did however try one of the connectors which isnt connected to any cameras as I only have three cameras, and the splitter i have 4 connectors, so I tried one on the DVR and still no luck.

I have three cameras, I have had it for 2 years and all has been working fine, however one of the Cameras has started to go very very dark, when I remove the power and re-connect it all works fine for half an hour or so. I have changed the power pack, and still no difference. I have tried only connecting that Camera and the others one by one to see how this might be happening. Summary: Very dark image on camera when reconnect power it works fine for sometime
