So if you have analog and ip cams do you need two different software packages or will they both run under the standard dvr?

Where did you purchase your parts may i ask? Im looking at the same motherboard with the Geovision GV-1240 board and 12 analog cams with potential for up to 3 ip cams in the near future. Think i could get away with a lesser processor using the 240 fps card? say i5? Thanks for you help.

How is the system holding up since the post? I am building a system with similar parts and its nice to see someone with success building a custom system.
