Ive seen several posts where people have tried the 3.6mm with my camera, but has anyone tried the 2.8mm? Any shots available? -
Real world differences between these two lenses?
Sifter posted a topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
How much difference is there between these two F stops in a real world environment? Also, will I really notice a difference between 2.8mm and 3.6mm in a QCN7001B? Im referring to these two lenses from M12. http://www.m12lenses.com/2-8mm-F2-0-Mega-Pixel-CCTV-Board-Lens-p/pt-02820mp.htm http://www.m12lenses.com/3-6mm-F1-8-Mega-Pixel-CCTV-Board-Lens-p/pt-03618mp.htm -
Camera's rebooting every 2 minutes on POE switch
Sifter replied to Sifter's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
If tried both types of CAT5, pre-made and making my own. If I plug the cameras directly into the NVR's POE block using the same good CAT5, they are just fine. Ive got other POE devices that are powered just fine on my switch. Ive also tried 2 other POE switches, Netgear as well, and the cameras reboot nonstop on those as well. -

Camera's rebooting every 2 minutes on POE switch

Ok lets try a different angle, have any of you used a POE switch that did not work? Or it had settings that you had to adjust in order for the POE camera to work properly? -

Camera's rebooting every 2 minutes on POE switch
Sifter posted a topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Those of you with the Sams Club or Costco Q-See Bundle, specifically with the QCN7001B bullet cams, have any of you had them reboot on you every 2 minutes or so? They are statically assigned on my network and powered by a Netgear FSM7328PS switch. Additional info, when plugged directly into the QC808 NVR POE block, they remain up and stable. The screenshot shows the camera's on ports 1 and 2. They are getting sufficient power. -
Solstice NVR - am I the Guinea Pig?
Sifter replied to TechPromise's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
From what Ive read and heard, the Costco Q-SEE cams only work with Q-SEE nvr's. For your sake, I hope Im wrong. -
How about toggle bolts? Drill holes large enough through the soffit for the spreader piece to fit through, then tighten down?
