    CCTV ROUTER NETWORKING PROBLEM

Hello, thanks for the response.. im connecting to the modem/router whenever im in my office because its in the first floor and the router1,router2 and dvr is in the 3rd floor of the building. i want to connect to the dvr whenever im in my office connected to the modem / router. the router 1 and router 2 is set to disabled dhcp so the modem / router is the one giving ip address to the dvr.. any thoughts? thanks
  2. Dear Masters, Kindly help me with my problem, I have searched the forum but cant find a solution, maybe im missing a simple thing. thanks setup (see image link below) switch is directy connected to modem / router router 1 lan port is directly connected to switch router 2 lan port is directly connected to router 1 lan port dvr / cctv is directly connected to router 1 lan port router 1 and router 2 has both disabled dchp in settings and getting ip address from modem / router What I can do. I can access the internet from all routers and modems I can view the dvr locally when connected to router 1 and router 2 but not when im connected to modem / router i can remotely view my dvr when im connected to 3g but not when im connected to router 1, router 2, modem router What i WANT to do I want to access the dvr locally (192.168.1.39) when im directly connected to modem / router (192.168.1.1) *****************NOTE, IMAGE IS WRONG.********************* ROUTER 1 is 192.168.1.2 ROUTER 2 is 192.168.1.3 both have disabled DHCP
  3. QUESTION? what do you call the new feature of dvrs coming out lately where you dont have to configure IP addresses, ddns, and port forwarding to enable remote viewing access. you just have to put in the serial number and a password to view the cameras. BTW, im asking so i will know whether the dvr i will buy online has this feature. thanks FYI: most ISP's here in the phillippines cant forward ports from the router, so the feauture im asking above is greatly needed in most cases of remote viewing here in the philippines.. THANKS
