    Thanks for your replies. I think the video baluns and local power are the best option for this particular task. Now I just need to read up on how to use the video baluns!

    Hi I set up a system of 6 cameras a couple of years ago. I have been asked by the owner to install an extra DVR and 6 more cameras. The setup is; the office (DVR room)is 60m from the front of the building, this is where the 6 cameras will be. The cameras are all in close proximity of eachother. My question is, Do I have to run 6 cables from the DVR directly to the cameras, or is there such a thing as a hub or similar solution, where I can connect all the cameras to a centralized location and then run all the data back to the DVR ? Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Regards Peter
