    Thanks....not going to open it up just yet. I have the manual and the cd with me at the office today so let me do some digging and figure it out Thanks There is a logic to it turn off permanent recording setup alarms setup motion areas setup system to rec on rec an alarm or "motion"

    I am from South Africa, not sure where this site is situated. Bought a cctv solution from the Chinese shop here. Got everything up and running, but I don't understand the manual when trying to setup Motion Detection...Steps 1-3 are complete, but the 4th step doesn't make any sense. I need to copy it out the manual so you have a better understanding. Its a no name h.264 DVR unit. If you can explain the logic to me, i can try figure it out. Thanks
