Hi all, I would like to know if I can watch remotely any kind of DVR using Web Service v2.0 (webrec.cab) by configuring it ? I read that on some DVRs there is an option of "Web Service" in Network Settings, is that a common option that I can use for all DVRs? I was told also that to aloow access using Web Service v2.0 I need to forward the IP to a specific port, is that true and if yes which port/s? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, When I access my DVR from remote location (webserver), the speed is perfect when I watch online but it becomes really slow when I try to watch from recorded history. How can I solve that problem? I use 4 simple analog cams with regular quality and less than 7.5 frames, with 1Mb upload, so the bandwith should be enough (at least so I was told). Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have remote control over my DVR system which is quiet old and the webserver provided by the producer is really limited without options. I would like to know how can I forward the port to another webserver which is better functionning (I saw webrec.cab installed webserver which is great). I will really appreciate any help and suggestions for good webserver. Thanks all in advance.. Have a great day
