I have successfully made a setup with a small cradlepoint router, Verizon LTE aircard (static IP) and a hikvision mini dome camera. Worked great. Just typed in the IP of the aircard and I reached the camera for remote view... Is there a way to just connect that aircard via the USB port of the Hikvision 4CH DVR: http://www.hikvision.com/En/Products_show.asp?id=1919 This would eliminate the router. Not sure if it is possible. Just wanted to reach out to the community and get some thoughts? Thanks.
