D&C_ELECTRONICS replied to ak357's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
NUUO SCB-IP+ Series support Arecont Cameras. -
The AverMedia Cards (and their Software) is really stable. I test both cards (SW & HW Comp.)for more than 2 months and I never had even 1 Crash. HW Compression cards doesn't support real time recording on D1 resolution. I Prefer SW compretion PCI-Express Cards.

I have tried the Avermedia NV6480 . On the earlier version of AverMedia softwares the above card support Real time recording only on CIF resolution. On the latest software AverMedia add "Turbo Mode" function. If you enable turbo mode the card Records Real time on D1 (or 640x480) but you got to have Intel Core 2 Duo cause this card is Software Copmression

MagicRadar software
D&C_ELECTRONICS replied to mikekraus's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
You might have 1 of the above Problems: 1) You are behind a router. You have to forward th folloing Port: 80, 9091~9112. If you forward only 80, then you have problem on Log-In 2) On MagicRadar system you can have only 1 Administrator Account Loged-In. So If you have Loged-In Localy with 1 Administrator Account, then none Administrator Account can Log In to the system by Network (The Default setting on the Admin user account in "No Mulity Access" Try to add another user Account without Administrator rights. -

Their software work's perfect. The MPEG4 cards doesn't have RCA Video Out. Download the Trial software from Nuuo Website and try It. The easy way is to add Vivotek Demo IP cameras to your system, So you can see all the functions of the Software.

I have use Nuuo MPEG4 Hardware compression card. Nuuo Products are very flexible 1) Analog Cameras DVR (DVR boards SW MPEG4 or HW H.264) 2) IP NDVR (IP Cameras) 3) Hybrid Analog + IP Cameras. Their system can manage up to 64 Cameras. Nuuo software is brilliant with many functions. It Support most of the IP cameras of the market. I didn’t like so much the MPEG4 DVR board. The picture so Good but now I ‘m waiting the H.264 boards. H.264 boards has really nice Picture quality. Try to download the trial version to take a look on the software

Viewgate/DVS/DiViS card problems
D&C_ELECTRONICS replied to robca's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
The "security check error" thas nothing to do with your hardware. It is a Locking Method that Divis use. Each OEM client of Divis has It's own software ID to avoid using diferent OEM software from another client. P.X. You can't use Chance-I software on a Onix Card. Long time ago I found solution on this Lock. I replace some files in ProgramFiles folder, But this was Long time ago.
