Power surge?
coyoteknee replied to need2shave's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
This could mainly be caused by a defective VGA cable or something internal in the monitor. -

Axis activex camera control...
coyoteknee replied to Strobosk's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
If you are using IE to display your video feed, you will need to install ActiveX to get it to work. On some cameras, you have change even more settings and make your connection vulnerable, which is pretty dangerous in my opinion. -

Have you tried yelping local places? I found some in my area that have good reviews, maybe you can find some in your area. Just make sure to read the reviews on both the positives and negatives, and then you can go from there. -
Autofocus camera
coyoteknee replied to Hathol's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Autofocus (to an extent) is a common thing that are installed in most types of cameras nowadays. -
I believe video cards could make a difference, but only depending on which camera you are planning to install. As for your case, 3MP and higher cameras probably do need a little more graphical power, but the standard ones should work fine with integrated graphic chips.

Camera with 3G/4G Support
coyoteknee replied to marley1's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Is this 3G and 4G connection from your cell phone provider? If yes, some smartphones allow for tethering or creating a Wi-Fi Hotspot with your 3G or 4G connection, does your phone have this option? -
When I installed my SSD, not only did a recognize a huge difference in boot time, but I noticed a big difference when opening programs as well. However, when the program is running, I didn't notice anything faster about the program itself. I think you made the right choice by upgrading to i7 instead, but doing both doesn't hurt!

I personally use DynDns, but any of the options in the replies should work very similarly.

You mentioned that you have the APK of the app itself, did you download it off the internet or get it straight from the Play Store? I'm wondering if you downloaded a defected copy of the app.
-
Wow, it's a good thing you were there to set up cameras!

Did you ever get rid of the interference by trying the baluns mentioned in this thread? I'm curious to see if this solution resolved your issue.
