Hi Jason. yes your system will work with a 3/4g router. or if available BTfon network (if your close to a hotspot area) PC world have a few 3g routers and I would look at Vodafone or T-Mobile for the data thanks for your reply, i have a dongal on the 3 network, there are no bt fon networks near us, could you post me a link of the sort of router i need? maplin said i could get a router to accept my dongal but it still wouldnt work the cctv system, they didnt explain why though.

hi all, i have looked at a 4 camera system at maplins today with hdd recorder was about £200, i want to use the remote access as i live away from farm, i have no land line but i do get a good 3g signal on a dongal, however maplins say that these systems wont work with mobile internet, is this correct or is there a way around this? regards jason
