Thank you survtech. Yes, Much better that took care of the brightness. Now as i zoom in i see a lot of static or ants. Its not a big of a deal but i do not get a perfect clear picture. I was wondering why if when i check the ptz at its location using my field monitor and at the other end its perfectly clear. But when i connect the rg59 to the matrix about 150 feet i get this static. The cable is brand new and the bnc. Can it be this cable running throw a light ficture or something and the matrix is picking it up?

O.k heres my question. I have a few dvrs all running geovison and i have them all in a share network. The only thing i have really use is the share printer. Now heres what im trying to do. Im trying to burn using nero but i need diffrent events from difrent dvrs to be burn on one disk (dvd) so i use back up system and get the time\date of the event. after i get the (please paste the back up log file to cdr-writer program) i paste this on a share folder so i can see it on another dvr where im going to be burning alone with the data from that other dvr. When i paste i get this mess. ( cannot copy autorun:access is denied.make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use) Can any of the team membersa here help me out with this or give me another way of how can i record from diffrent dvrs using only one disk. thank you ,but im trying to do it throw the network location so i can do it from one dvr and not have to go to each dvr and download to flash drive etc.But keep getting this message.

I will be installing 4 ptz cams with the farest one from the matrix being about 150 feet what cable would you recomend rg or cat 5 and what would be the difrents on cost or what is cheaper. Thanks

Hey guys, whats a good camera with a good view for counting cash. This is for a casino where a lot of money is counted they need something that they can see the bills clearly they ask for a black and white so they can see a beeter image,any advice?

Im using two monitors to view the cams with the same card (computer)but in one of the monitors the cams are in pink. When i play back a video on that monitors it looks fine its only on live view. How can i do it so i can see the cams on both monitors???

Hello,, can someone help me with the authentication sever on geovision. What im trying to do is have a cam with no view or no view log but that is still being recorded and only the supervisors can see this cam. Let me explain i have 20 dvrs working on a server. Dvr # one has the authentication sever program instaled. The cam i dont want the employes to see is on dvr # 11 port 6 but when i go into change passwords i click off that port. But the problem is that port 6 goes off on all the dvrs.

I have a problem with the gv program. After a few minutes the surveilanve system turns off and then re-starts again by its self. And now its causing windows xp to turn off and on again. It was not doing this before. Has any one gone throw this please advice.. Thanks...
