Thanks for the replies. I don't have a camera hooked up to the dvr but I think I can get my hands on a drive with data on it. I will boot into a Linux and check if I can make heads or tails of the contents.

Hello, I'm trying to recreate the file structure of files recovered from a hard drive of a monoprice security dvr. This drive was accidentally formatted but have not been written to. Does anyone have an idea of what the folder arrangement is this type of dvr? The files I see are SWF and GZ file types. Thanks!
