Enclosures - Who makes or sells this one?

This seems like a great enclosure. Its usually easier to surface mount wiring and sometimes an in wall enclosure is not practical or allowed by code (fire penetrations). -

Surveillance system - DIY guide and other questions?
icamera replied to data0213's topic in General Digital Discussion
I am not sure that surveillance protects, it can only captures event video and possibly deter crime. To protect your home you need to look at physical security for your home, doors, window, etc. and some early signaling devices (alarm) to alert the occupants, call the police, and possibly scare off the suspect and alert neighbors. Cameras could only help capture event. -
Setting up surveillance camera outside, do I need a sign?
icamera replied to keepsafe's topic in General Digital Discussion
ohh... why are they climbing into a community pool? Swimming at night? Our community pool has a sign mounted to the gate that must be routinely repaired because people use the sign as a foothold as they climb over the fence. When I arrive with the police, I always ask them, did you see the large sign with big red letters that says the area is under video surveillance? Some say they did not see the sign and others say they thought the cameras were fake. In my experience, signs are not an effective deterrent. Your area may require signs for legal reasons, but I would not bother putting them up for security reasons. Best, Christopher -

Its interesting how secretive these sales reps are on these forums in not posting prices. I think I will look at other options.

"You may be monitored or recorded by CCTV". If you say you "are" recorded and then they demand the video by way of court order and you don't have it maybe you can be held liable for some reason like false perception of security. THIS IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE. FOR ANY LEGAL ADVICE CONSULT WITH A LAWYER -
Wonderful. Can you give me a price quote for just parts. I have a new home being built. I can prewire with some advice and then maybee you can come to adjust VMS or can you do it remotely? Also... How powerful will the computer recording need to be? I want a standalone PC just for recording and have it hooked up to some sort of RAID hard drive block for backup and reliability.
