  1. What difference would you expect to see? I have a range of 1-18 FPS to choose from in the Camera setup menu and the video looks fine in terms of video and smoothness. I've installed the above version on 2x HDB3200C NTSC cams with the config tool v1.0.5. Took a few minutes on first cam. The file was uploaded to 2nd cam but wouldn't start programming. Powered cam off and on, was able to upgrade it then. Both are working fine now. As with previous firmware, I am only able to view them on Firefox. With IE 11 I always get prompted to install web plug in but it never shows video after installing. Not sure if theres an IE setting that prevents it working. Motion Detect grid is an improvement on previous adaptations. Along the lines of the Camera - Conditions profiles, I wish they would have something like Motion Detect - Video Detect Profiles. That way you can have optimal motion detect sensitivity for use at different times of the day.

Not sure how great the detection algorithm is though if a car can go through on a Sens 70/ Thres 15 region and not be detected on an overcast day. 3. What are other peoples settings for the Motion Detect off the Camera itself? I've covered over the Infrareds so the glow from camera at night isn't obvious to people walking past. I've only masked the areas I want to detect so theres no movement in those areas. I have Sensitivity at 10 (I assume 10 is low?) and Threshold at 80 which means I'm basically not capturing anything during daytime but I still get my camera recording continuously at night, mainly noise by the looks of it. Weird thing is I have the Motion Detect "Working Period" to only work during daylight hours yet it still records 24/7. It would be nice if you could have separate configs for Day and Night similar to the Camera - Conditions menu. I'm on V2.210.0001.0.R.20130517. Are there any other settings that would minimise the noise? Help
  4. Thanks I tried it today, but it seems there is still the FTP recording issue. Guess I have to wait for a fix. I did not see anything New. best, Paal Upgraded my NTSC HDBW3300 cameras from V2.103.0000.0.R.20120724 to V2.210.0001.0.R.20130517 using the above file. I notice there are a few updates inbetween these versions so maybe some of the following items are in those as well. Many improvements in the Cameras inbuilt Web Service. There is now a Playback tab which allows you to easily playback any recordings. You can choose a date and view the timeline of any recordings in the period. (the timescale is also adjustable to either 24hr, 2hr, 1hr or 30mins) I had previously seen videos online showing the camera's live video with icons to take snapshots, record, digital zoom, listen to audio, resize the video and more. Version 20120724 never had that but this version does. Most of the rest of the menus are pretty much the same, a profile addition in the Camera - Conditions menu which allows you to schedule the camera to run "Day" settings during certain hours and "Night" settings at other times, a Holiday addition to the Destination - Schedule menu and the Motion Detect overlay map shows the actual video where the old version was just blank. The System - General now mentions its PAL version. No ill effect. Other bonus is it now works with IE10 after prompting for plugin, whereas 20120724 wouldn't for me. Bugs: Motion Detect areas don't stick.
