Hey could you imaging in detroit or camdem where the murders are extremely high and the detective wanted videos from the dvr all the time imagin trying to get paid from the police there. Just spoke to a friend about this and he told me that if it's a small crime they just get the video off the dvr if it's something bigg the want to keep the chain of command and they take the dvr. I would think the insurance company would be liable for that.?

Thats funny, I have been to alot of workshops and these companies send there workers there I would say more than half have a record, are homeless or just got out of jail. I think this is a good idea, I don't think a guy that did time for theft should be installing any security system at anyones' home. Maybe it will clean up the field.

I look at it this way you go to a flea market or a fair and there are people selling fake movies, they take the chance of getting caught but when you do it online they are more brazin. I was in europe and all you see if police taking evrything off a guys table and putting him in cuffs, He knew he was doing sometjhing illegal but yet he took the chance. Online is a different animal, I agree ebay has it's crazy fees and yes does nothing to say ye they earn them. As for the geovision stuff i really think geovision should step up and nail the people selling there fake cards. this is just "My opinion "

I am very happy to hear this, As ebay is always saying it's not there fault and just collect the money and fees. You can spend your money and think your buying something real and get crap in a box and ebay does nothing. I am very happy maybe now they will open there eyes to what we know goes on everyday.

I agree but what happend to being a good installer you design a great system and them give them crappy chinese cards with Pico (or other crap)software? Tell me how that makes you a good installer or am i missing something, You can give them the best cameras in the world 20 megapixels and it would still be worthless if a lawyer starts asking questions if it was altered in someway, Ye i will spend $300 dollars for a camera and then save my video onto a $200 DVR. WOW 16 camera Dvr for less than $400. Makes sense I guess i have been doing it all wrong all these years. What can your card do better than a quaity pc based dvr or stand alone for that matter? Welcome to the new bubble. You are right everyone is doing it, from locksmiths to computer repair people, even your next door neighbors kid, But it's all about the installer i am in the process of repairing an install that a big company did and wait till i post those pictures up you won't beleive it....... . I know that some huge companys have tryed this too but never worked out.. I rather take the time and do it right or not take the job at all, This is my livelyhood if even a jerk gives me a bad name it gets around. I do every install like it's my own even with my guys i over see almost everything and if i don't i inspect it all later or i know i will have to go back later to fix it and i don't want to. I live by the saying do it right the first time

I could understand cameras to help in detouring crime but for commercial purposes Nah that aint right..

They do that now everytime you buy something on your credit or debit card.
