Please anybody... any help here

Hi, I was given 3 of these units of which two work. I cant figure out what the passwords are to go into the admin to setup the cameras and network interface. I have figured out that by pressing menu it asks for a password 1 + gives me manager mode 2 + gives me user 1 mode 3 + gives me user 2 mode , etc Is there any way to reset this unit to default and what would the installer password be? I have attached some pics of the unit and I find no visible brand or make only on the main board it says SDVR16J Ver 1.1 And on the bottom it has 16JM535S Any help would be so appreciated as I have been at it for 3 days now

Hi, That doesnt work menu twice takes me into the menu and out of it again menu 1234 menu does the same as above. I dont have a remote. only front panel buttons. I managed to get into the config and set it up via dhcp it gave me the IP of 192.168.1.121 and port 50000 I tried this in my browser but it just times out. I can ping it on this IP too now. (Is there maybe special software I might need. I use Ubuntu linux on all my pc's) I changed the IP to 192.168.1.80 and port to 22000 I can telnet to it now on that but still nothing from a web interface

Hi, Ok somhow I pressed The only thing now is to change the password it requires the current (or default) one and then you can enter your own and repeat to confirm. I have tried 1111, left it blank, 4888, etc as I see on most other forums but not alowing me to change it. It says current password incorrect. hhhmmmm...well at least I have come this far...still hoping for a default password if anyone knows it as I have managed to reset the unit from this menu. Regards

Hi, Thank you for your prompt response. I take it you are talking about through a web interface connected to the network interface. I cant acces it as I dont know what the IP is and it doesnt show up in my dhcp range. I only have access to the front panel. I cant press admin on the front panel. I attached what it gives me on the monitor.
