Hello Friends, I have here with me is a Analog 36X PTZ Array Camera which is giving a problem and needs to be factory reset. The Problem is once u on it , it auto zooms in and zooms out for sometime ( 10 mins ) then later rotates and the usual pan tilt for checking. Then it stays in the position just showing ID12 on the screen , with no Braudrate or any other information about the camera. I try to control it with RS485 with id as 12 and did a lot of tries , but not able to bring it back to control . I was able to check the SW2 DIP Switch and other images i have posted here . Would be great if someone can help me find the solution to just reset it to factory . We got it back from the customer , the older setting seemed to be ID 001, Baudrate - 2400 PELCOD , but now its not responding to it .

If you are going to watch your cameras on a TV which is upto 20" , the 1.3 Mp is good. , if its 32" , then the 2MP is fine. Enjoying the resolution of 3MP on a smaller LED wont be making much difference. Another advantage to have a 3MP or a 2MP camera is that when u zoom and see a particular area using your NVR or your PC system , the image wont break much , and imagine if your zooming a number plate , the image would be much more clearer if you have a 2MP or a 3MP Camera. So it comes down to a simple choice , where i would be zooming and where the area is important , u install the 3 MP there , some areas 2 MP , and the not so important places 1.3 MP . Good luck

Video Transmission fast on dyndns , but slow on Cloud
brucelipkiss posted a topic in General Digital Discussion
Hello friends , From long we have been using dyndns as the provider for using dynamic ip on host name . Since cloud technology has come over , we stated using cloud to connect our dvr and view online without the hastle of port forwarding or static ip issues , connecting to cloud is piece of cake , with just using serial number and register at xmeye.net and there u go , but the speed of the video is so so slow , at the same time when i compare it to the dyndns at the same place , the speed is awesome even in main stream and extra . Someone please tell me if this is the issue with XMeye.net or can i use other cloud services too ? Would be great if someone can help me out . Thank you -

brucelipkiss posted a topic in Security Cameras
Hello Friends , This is my first time here and really loved the info you guys share .. too good ..!! I import cctv products from shenzhen and i got a few samples first and in that i had Sony ccd s 540 TVL , 420 TVL and a Cmos 550 TVL , in comparing them i found the 550TVL fine for using it as i know it also consumes less power . The lighting condition of the 550TVL Sensor Cmos was good. Later when i ordered 100 nos of the same with the supplier i found that the lighting contrast was bad in them . I opened up and found the chip was diffrent than the sample one i got . Now i would love to know how is one suppose to find out which Cmos chip has the supplier sent me and what tvl is it ? I can send the pictures of the sample ones as well as the lot ones . Kindly please let me know . Thank you . Will be posting the pics from office tomorrow . -

Camera assembly - 20 meters , 30 meters , 50 meters etc
brucelipkiss posted a topic in System Design
Hello friends , I am a reseller and would like to know how to assemble a 50 meter outdoor camera . For example :- I have a Sony 1/3 700 TVL chip with a 3.6 mm lens and a 24 or 36 IR plate and a outer case . i am able to assemble all and put in a casing and ready to go for a indoor 15 - 20 meter camera . What i want to know is that how can i do the same with to assemble a 50 meter IR camera . I know i need bigger board with more LED s or a array led with distance upto 50 meters , my question is that the array will only make the IR travel to that distance , but the chip and the lens will be the same , so how will i get a closer view ( 50 meters distance view ) More over even if i change the lens to a 8mm or 12mm , it would take it further or put a Varifocal lens , i want to know will a 3.6mm lens work ? how is it done ? Kindly please let me know . Thanks a lot . -

@ Mind twist - May be sir you did not understand my question well , it was not about the sensor size , it was about the tv lines i had to know in 1/4 or a 1/3 board. I have been assembling PC s and overclocking GPU cards and CPU s . Yes i am new to the CCTV line , but i dont think so its so complicated . Now i got some new chips from Shenzhen which are Enhanced "Effio-E" (CXD4140GG) says as a 700 TVL , and got some Big LED ( Array ) with casings and it works as a charm . My question was about the distance measured in 40, 50 Mtrs camera as how it works . U need far away distance LED s i know , but will the Lens too need to be changed , as i have seen cameras having 3.6mm lens for a 50 meter , hope u got my question
