I'm having the same problem...and it REALLY pizziz me off. Especially after spending the money!

How about removing a branch or two???, or mount the camera on a tree.

What is the difference between the PoE wire system, (for IP cameras), and the siamese wire system for analog cameras ? Do they do the same thing...pertaining to power? Anyone?

Thanks for the reply EarlT. Now, the real stupid question...will all analog cameras take siamese wiring, and,..where does the siamese wire get it's power from?

A typical old house!... House faces North,... yard and garden face East,... back door faces South...West is an intersection (I'm on a corner lot) have had more then my share of theft! Things stolen off the front porch...stolen from the garden and yard. (Lot size is 150' wide by 250' deep)...[North is 150' wide]. Want to see the kids in Colorado, Texas, and the East coast...and all points between...while getting there. What to buy??? My budget is between $1500 - to - $1700. Is a DVR or NVR the way to go?.....and why?

How about the difference, when trying to view your cameras (home location) from elsewhere. I was told that ip systems are very hard to do that way....true, or not?
