i have also installed a camera to my office in last month. The first thing keep in mind is that the camera quality shoud be so good as you are using it for security purpose.If you already have then now think about the place where you want to install it.The CCTV shave good lens so its picture quality is always nice but try to place it in the area with good light. don't place it where the sun light directly falls on it.On the same time try to place it in some hidden place where the attacker doesnot see it because if he then he try to damage it first. now the next thing is wiring... try to plan the placement of the camera by minimizing the wiring lenght as if the wiring is long the attacker may find the wire and cut it. The recorder and the monitor connections should be proper and try to avoid external wiring.. Here completes your installation now switch on the camera and check for the monitor adjustments. \Hoope it will help you
