So do I need a stand alone router? How much bandwidth do I need? Tanks Papajww

Hi All: I'm just recently retired so this is part fun and part serious. I plan on installing at least one very good camera outside in the back of my yard, with a cheaper dome camera on the front porch. I'll have to make it critter safe (on a metal pole) of course. I do have power near by so that wont be an issue. I do plan on it being internet viewable/controllable from computer or mobile. Any suggestions for equipment is appreciated. Thankxx in advance
