Camera outputs only static. Just bought a board with Sony efio-p DSP and exview had ccd II. There is a CS lens mount on the board and i have tried both a 4 and a 6mm cs lens. The OSD works just fine but the picture is not. It is bright on the far left side and black with static on the rest. When lens is covered it goes almost all black with some white static. Anyone has an idea of what could be wrong? Is the CCD broken ?

Mercedes uses a Near IR camera and have IR lights in the headligt.. BMW on the other hand uses a termal camera.

Also the corners could be darker and/or rounded.

Hi This might not be the right forum but I think it´s woth a shoot. What I want to achieve is something like this. I´m not deep into camera technology but have a decent understanding of the basis and work as a engineer in digital broadcast. In my mindt CCTV cameras are the cameras that need to operate under the most severe conditions, right? I do find a few bords like the above with EXview but they have the EFFIO-E DSP instead of the EFFIO-P, is there a reason for that? I see on sonys webpage that they have a new EFFIO-V(CXD4141GG) and a new EXview CCD (ICX873AKA), is there anything out there that would be a better choise in low light/ir conditions? If not, where can I get a board with this CCD and DSP?
