That what the new dahua dvr's look like. I just used one as an encoder and it had the same exact face. If it had the latest firmware, it has the same web interface as a dahua IP camera does.

You can have them all set at 1.3mp but keep the bit rates down. That's what that mssg means.

Lower the bit rate to 2048 on every channel.

I have a similar situation coming up soon where the office can view all the cameras, the receptionist will only be allowed certain cameras, and the security guard desk will be allowed others as well. What I plan on doing is giving them each a PC and running PSS on each one. Than in the NVR account settings only allowing the specific cameras to be viewed and logging in to the assigned account at each PC.

Why just 2 conduits? Why not 7, 8, 9, even 10 layers of conduit! Like those chinese dolls inside of dolls toy for kids!

I'll save you all the headaches and searching and research. If your buying a hikvision IP camera, buy a hikvision NVR.

I think you need a better translator because if you took what I said as I am interested, your current translator has no clue.

CCTV for the most part has to do with Video. What in the world would you want translated? Instruction manuals?

Have you looked at the day/night settings as both of us have mentioned?

Look in the settings under conditions and see which profile it's set for. If it's set to DAY, than the IR's may not come on at night. I always change the DAY profile to auto for day/night just in case the camera changes on it's own by changing something in the NVR.

Where are the after pics?

Those are awesome before pics. I hate big huge gang boxes right next to bullet cameras. I think it looks horrible. If your going to use conduit or pipe, use vandal comes and run the conduit right into the camera so there is no ugly box next a camera. So, where are the after pics of how you cleaned up that disaster area?

Your tablet has an ethernet port? I was talking about a laptop, not a tablet. If you have power to the IP camera, than you can pick up a net book cheap, and use that. All you have to do is give the net book an IP in network settings, and enter the IP of the camera in explorer.
