If anyone out there figures out how to stream the video to windows media player, I have a customer that will pay for the info

you don't have any serial ports?? you could always get a pci serial card I also have customers that have used a usb to serial adaptor and did not run into any problems

I have many customers that use the EB1304NET and have had no problems to this day with the systems

I've seen it done through ftp and snapshots as far as not needing any user interaction I had a customer trying to get this to work with a Windows Media Server, but never heard back from him on how it went If anyone knows how to stream the video, please post

I paid $140 for my Nvidia brand 7900GS the first day there were released so yeah I would have probably bought something else........but that's besides the point, it is usually better to not do anything else with your security system other than do the recording of cameras unless this is more of a hobby you are taking on than needs for security

i have a few customers that are using the standalone avermedia 4 camera system, EB1304NET w/ a 320GB HDD, and they have not had any problems with them so far

overkill for the gv800 i think, also depends if your going to be running vista 32 bit or 64 bit to which video card you "have" to get......I am running vista 32 bit with a 7900gs and everything works fine

you will need a third party player to play the files on a mac, I'm not sure which will work with the geovision files

check the AGC if the software can control this and also some cameras have AGC adjustments right on them -

it will show you which chipset you are using in windows device manager under system devices

You will get less framrate with the 1480 if you put the resolution at D1. With the 2008 series you will get full D1 which is 30fps and full resolution.

yes it is seperate, the option to turn this on should be somewhere on the POS under printers, it also should be labeled on the back of the system "JNR-PNT" i believe
