LOOKING FOR A GOOD DVR WITH 2 WAY AUDIO and possible ACCESS CONTROL TO REMOTELY OPEN A DOOR any solutions?

Ya I've seen the Redwalls before. They Look pretty heavy duty. I mean they're all basically simple in design and installation, just don't know why they cost so damn much. The ASIM long range units we were using were close to 1200usd !

I was wondering if anyone was famliar with that function or have actually used it on a DVR, and what type of DVR was it? I know alot of manufacturers offer that function, but how reliable was it? The talkdown feature has proven to be pretty useful in the environments that I've been installing them as of late. I'm currently using some self amplified valcom horns tied into an ADPRO Fastrace unit, and was looking for an alternative for my customers, since they can't all afford the ADPRO Unit.

been using ASIM long range volumetric and curtain PIRs in the past to tie in with ADPro DVRs, and I've been looking for something that does the same thing but doesn't cost quite as much. I guess its because they're made in switzerland?

how about linux based dvrs?

well the setup uses about 30 cameras half of them are box half are domes they're 480TVL sonys. What else would you suggest? Are two 16 channel DVR survers really viable? because you'd need two IPs for remote monitoring, and two different monitors.

I need to find a PC based DVR card or DVR SERVER. It needs to have 32 channels @ 920fps (30fps/channel) Any Ideas? I've only seen 2 on ebay, and one of them is only 480fps the other is 920fps, but it is from edigitaldeals. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
