  1. Damn and thank you! You are absolutely right it looks as it the only way to use PTZ is to run another cable out which in this situation is not really doable due to the camera location. I will use the old pelco system and loop out of it into the DVR Thanks
  2. Hi chaps! I'm hoping someone can help me! I have a Pelco Spectra II/III Dome camera currently connected to a pelco system and I'm trying to move it to a Vidor VDR-208 but I can't get the PTZ to work! Does anyone have any ideas? on the current system it is set as; COMM: 2400,N,8,1 D Address: None P Address: 1 CM9500 Mode: Off Protocol: C On the VDR I have tried; protocol: pelco-d RS-485: 2400 PTZ ID: 0-3
  3. Thanks, the DVR is set to 9600, ptz 1, pelco-d but its still not working! As for the wiring doesn't it all go down the coax? In which case how do i check it?
  4. I have just been and set dipswitches on the camera to 9600, D, 1 but still I have no joy Tim
