I would like to update firmware on older AVC796ZB-D. I found many pages offering firmware for 796D or 796AD or 796B. I don't wont to brick my DVR. Currently I use 1003-1001-1001-1000.Which firrmware is correct?
Background: The reason for upgrade is that newer AVC models have the option to connect via "remote desktop" (directly in the VideoViewer). I know this, because I have a newer model (AVC-796PV) as well, and when I use Video Viewer there is a new option to connect via Remote Desktop (after connecting, the camera picture is streched to 16:9-this is what I want).
