I'm looking at switching out our old DVR camera system at our company. I need some help deciding what cameras would be the best fit for us. I've tried to best describe what I need below and hope some of you can point me in the right direction. I'd prefer to get POE cameras, however it would be possible for me to run power to most of the mounting locations.
Cameras to Focus on Entrance Gates to hopefully be focused in on vehicles entering/exiting the property (Red blocks on attached image are where the gates are) These cameras will be mounted outside approx. 65ft from gates. We do have large security lights that keep these areas lit all the time.
1-2 more cameras to give a wide view inside the gate, 1-2 cameras to monitor property outside the rear of the buildings, and one camera on each side of the building monitoring the narrow alleys running alongside each side of the building. All of these cameras will be mounted outside.
I'd also like to consider adding a few cameras inside our mfg. plant. These would be mounted approx. 25' high and would possibly be interested in PTZ functionality.
I'm expecting the 2 gate cameras to hopefully catch license plates to be more $$ than the others. My budget is flexible. If anyone could also let me know how much bandwidth I'd be using per camera I'd appreciate it (our office is across the street where the DVR will be located and I need to find out if we need to expand our current bandwidth capacity).
