How to chose best Camera to mate to DVR?

Hey guys, thanks for the responses. So, here is the a link to the DVR I am currently using: http://www.supercircuits.com/digital-video-recorders/mobile-dvrs/single-channel-mobile-dvr-mdvr25hr I initially tried to use the standard 3.6 mm lens, but it wasn't able to capture everything I need. Here are the cameras I've tried so far; first is the 470 TVL camera that has so far worked the best: http://www.supercircuits.com/security-cameras/bullet-security-cameras/wide-angle-bullet-security-camera-pc321-hr Here is the second I tried, and this was considerably more pixelated and had 700 TVL: http://www.ktncusa.com/english/viewtopic.php?t=959 And most recently, I've tried this 600 TVL one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/150976999422?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I still plan on using these DVR's, as well as getting some new one, but if you can provide any opinion on what camera would work best with this DVR, it would be appreciated. I have recently purchased a new H.264 DVR; here is the link to it: http://www.ivigilcctv.net/specsh/TY9116R.pdf With this DVR, I haven't really tried any cameras yet, and I don't want to go through buying multiple cameras again to test which one works the best. This is really why I had come to this forum to see if I can get anyhelp picking what should be the best camera to go with it. Thanks again, Kris
  2. Hello, I have a DVR that I am using, and all the cameras I'm using are not recording in a picture as clear as I would like. I've used 470 TVL cameras, and they weren't as clear as I would like, so I bought some 600 TVL cameras, and I think they are actually worse. What is the best way to pick the clearest camera. For my application, I need to use a lipstick syle bullet camera, and I need a 2.5 mm lens. On all the cameras I've bought, I've had to install my own 2.5 mm lens that I bought separately. Any info provided is appreciated. The DVR info I'm using is: NTSC / PAL Auto Dectection 704x480 NTSC / 704x560 (PAL) H.264 Video Compression The video is recorded onto an SD Card. Thanks, KRis
