    Remote Viewing

can you provide screenshots or snapshots of the DVR's menu? First this is to check with your supplier, if it is a cloud based DVR (any ISP will work on this). If yes, for setting that says cloud or P2P, then enable it. Set it to DHCP. You may also contact them at roversystems.com.ph

    street cameras

Hi there... I've been installing cameras for over 2 years now but i havent tried installing long cable runs with coax and utp cables. Currently the longest coax cable run that i made was a 200m RG59-U (with power) and using a 18CH 20A Centralized PSU. Same with 4wire-UTP with power cable, using Passive Video Baluns, 150-200m cable runs. Problem that I encountered frequently is voltage drop, especially when all cameras are long cable runs and using varifocal cameras or cameras high beam IRs that usually need more wattage. I was forced to install power adapters(12V 1A) for each cameras. What system should I use especially long cable runs? Should I use long rang IP cameras but I haven't tried it since I think it needs to be in light of sight (the receiver and transmitter antennas)?
  3. what do you mean by this "a cable with no joints is ALWAYS the best"? can you describe further or upload a simple picture? Thanks

    HDCVI Signal Problem

if you are using a video balun transceiver, try to replace it. Just for testing, go near those cameras and connect a power adapter using an extension cord and plug it to the nearest power outlet. Then See what happens?
