    New to this

HI everyone. I'm new to this CCTV business and I have a specific one off requirement. At the end of my garden is a road and over the road is a field we use to keep horses. Thanks to a recent Speight of horse box, horse and lamb theft I need to put some surveillance in place. I'm looking for an outdoor camera I can place at the bottom of the garden (I can route CAT5 and mains down to there) with the following features / requirements: 1. Night vision 2. Remote PTZ 3. Remote accessible over the net (including PTZ control) 4. Constant recording (no point having motion detection because the cars and people on the road will set it off) 5. Some means of being able to commit the recordings to disc on a PC on say a 24 hour basis should I need to go back through time (in a non Dr Who way) or make it easy to delete recordings to clear space. Having looked around I have seen a couple of cameras (and I think I need dome style for outdoor and PTZ). One is EasyN and the other is the Foscam. However both seem to have good and very poor review from people on places like Amazon. The other issues is not knowing which S/W package to use. Foscam tried to sell me Blue Iris (which turns out not to be a geriatric porn star) despite there being plenty to choose from on the free downloads front. I'm thinking of steering clear of Wifi because at 6ft from the router I think I'll struggle. I have a PC lined up at home for the recordings because the cloud providers seemed to want too much money when I wanted a decent frame rate, image size and length of recording. What advice could people give me on all of this.
