Ip camera 2.8mm vs 3.6mm vs 4mm
madrian replied to movy's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Wait a few days, I have a 4mm Hikvision and a 2.8mm version is on the way! " title="Applause" /> -
Thanks for making things clear! I canceled first order and maked a new order on a 48V0.5A adapter + one new camera DS-2CD3332-I with 2.8mm lens.

You are right, I misunderstood the email: what is the POE power need of the DS-2CD2332-I camera? What voltage, amper, watt POE-switch is needed? Standard PoE switch is OK. Power Supply: 12 VDC ± 10%, PoE (802.3af) Power Consumption: Max. 5.5 W (Max. 7.5 W with IR cut filter on) The comma makes big difference, so I am going to buy a 48V version. 48V 0.5 will be enough? Or rather 1A version?

Hi buellwinkle, Did you checked my last link? I linked to this type of adapter, just 12V not 48V (since Hikvision wrote that it should work on 12V POE). I throw away the passive injector.

Hikvision ds-2cd3332-i 3mp camera setting
madrian replied to zacreth's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
I don't want to open new topic for my question, I hope it fits in here. I want to record from 8:30AM to 16:30PM, and motion detection in the rest time. For motion detection I must enable it in the Events menu too? Enable Motion Detection - checked Arming Schedule - not touched, none Trigger Channel - checked It is working good, but in the Log menu I see: 5 2014-02-27 11:48:52 Alarm Stop Motion Detection 1 0.0.0.0 6 2014-02-27 11:48:46 Alarm Start Motion Detection 1 0.0.0.0 I just don't want to record things twice. -
Thank you very much for the clarification! I bought this type of adapter, I hope it will be good.

Hi! Raspberry Pi NFS server + USB HDD 149GB = Hikvision sees only 111GB. Hikvision Web interface: Capacity 149.05GB - Free Space 111GB RPi: /dev/sda1 150G 247M 149G 1% /media/USBHDD /dev/sda1 150G 247M 149G 1% /export/ipcamera The Hikvision's format function creates two directory: pi@raspberrypi /media/USBHDD $ ls datadir0 datadir1 info.bin One more question: Is there a function to automatically delete X day before?

I am using this type of passive POE injector: The adapter's female plug come into this adapter... On the second picture you can see the schematic, it ok for the camera? This injector is sold under name "Mikrotik Passive Injector".

Hi, I have a DS-2CD3332-I camera, I am trying it to power with passive POE injector. Unfortunately it is doesn´t work, I tried with 12-24 1-1,75A adapter, and with 1M LAN cable. Hikvision support emailed me that it is should work with 12V: Standard PoE switch is OK. Power Supply: 12 VDC ± 10%, PoE (802.3af) Power Consumption: Max. 5.5 W (Max. 7.5 W with IR cut filter on) Anyone tried with similar POE injector?
