    Hello all,

    can anyone tell me what ports does a Sentry DVR card use? Its manual tells 20, 200, 8100 and 5100 but when I do a port scan on a running system,it tells that the system has service on port 80 (web port) but there is nothing on other ports. I have problems on an other system: I can access its webpage but on login it tells it cannot connect to server (direct ADSL connection,no router,firewall or stuff like this), but there are times when all goes fine. Can anyone suggest anything? Thanks.

    Hello

    I think it is only a matter of video standard - provided that the cameras required provide a standard analogue video output - check the camera's video standard then check if the DVR card can accept that standard - it should work.

    We use Sentry DVR cards with various cameras using PAL: card accepts it and works fine. I hope it helps.
