  1. Yes I MUST change this RETARDED ISP. Dude. Version 4.11 is old already. I think the newest version is 4.14.
  2. It´s extremely annoying the fact that the ISP is blocking so many ports. And after 5-6 calls to the ISP asking them why they are doing it it will not help me fix the problem. I know is them, I have sniffed the network and scanned the ports. The only way to get this to work is for the client computer to have the same ISP as they dont block nodes on the same network. Does other version of Kodicom Center have a port setting? It´s so annoying I am debating if I should buy LuxRiot instead and use it instead.
  3. After much thought, I dont believe that´s possible... The client uses port 8080 (Cannot change this) Kodicom Center 4.11 I can change Kodicom Site to any port I want. But I will not be able to use Kodicom Center until I change the default port. And any type of port forwarding is useless. Case 1 Kodicom Center 8080 ------ISP BLOCKS 8080 --XXXX---> Site 8086 The IP traffic will never reach the server. So the only way to fix this is to change the port on the client. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Case 2 WebDVR (port 8082) -------> Site 8086 Kodicom Mainport (8086) I never use WebDVR on port 8080 or 80 cause it will not work. So I changed it to 8082. This should work, but I cannot get it to work because I get connection failed dialog box. My guess is the ActiveX component is not communicating with the Kodicom Site on the designated port 8086. But I have no way of testing this. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Case 3 Kodicom Center 8080 ------forward port 8080 to any other port on the client to 8086 --------------->Site 8086
  4. I am abroad installing a SecCam DVR system and everything is working fine. The system uses Kodicom card and software site and center version 4.11 Here is the following problem I am having and its extremely annoying as its out of my control. The ISP blocks port 80, 443, 8080 to any traffic coming outside of their own network. Its not something I can change on my side. So I have tried to change: Diginet Site Main Control port to 8086. So where is the option to change the default Diginet Center port to 8086. I have not been able to find it anywhere. (By default it uses 8080) Another question is with WebDVR. I can change the HTML file so the activex control uses port 8086, but it never works. It tells me network failed. If I change it back to 8080 it works. And the major flaw in Digicom software. If you telnet to the Video Port (8081) it will crash the server. I have tried version 4.13 with patch 7. But I get no Video on my display. Though I know it´s recording. The software is so buggy I am regretting spending so much money and time with it. Should have gone to GeoVision, but the client wanted to save some money.
