    I have seen those cameras in a test lab and the outdoor setup should be good enough unless you want to actually make out the face of people walking by your garage.

    Also something often overlooked is what interface you are viewing it. If you are using a lower grade tablet or phone you may not even get the full HD so nothing to worry about!
