Thank you for responding SectorSecurity. How can I tell if it is using day/night or infrared for my night pictures. I looked for the setting in the dvr menu but can't find it.

Hello everyone. I'm new in this forum and is looking for some help. I purchased this Lorex 8 Channel HD SDI Security System with 2TB HDD and 8 1080p Cameras from costco with the following features: Lorex Stratus Connectivity - Hassle-free remote monitoring 8 Channel HD-SDI DVR 8 x Full 1080p HD Weatherproof Indoor/Outdoor Cameras 2TB Hard Drive (Pre-installed) Real-time recording on all channels at 1080p Night Vision up to 155’ away in ambient lighting & 100’ away in total darkness Day time video on this system is excellent, howerver night video is not so good. Can someone please give me some idea on how to improve the video at night to where I can recognize the face of the person standing 20 ft. away from the camera. The camera are facing my driveway and the street. Thanbk you.
